3.16. Check / adjustment of installations of turns of idling / a corner of an advancing of ignition / qualities of an air-fuel mix

Before to start performance of procedures of checks / of adjustments, make sure of serviceability of a condition and functioning of following knots:

  • The battery;
  • Components of system of ignition;
  • Impellent oil and cooling liquid (levels);
  • Safety locks;
  • Contact socket of electroconducting ECM;
  • Vacuum hoses;
  • Inlet air path (a cover of a mouth of refuelling of oil, a measuring instrument of level of oil, etc.);
  • Regulator of pressure of fuel (pressure);
  • Piston group (compression)
  • Valve EGR;
  • Throttle заслонка;
  • Components of system of catching of fuel evaporations (EVAP).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On the models equipped with a central air of air, switch off the conditioner.
  2. Translate selector AT lever in position «N».

Step 1 — the Beginning of checks

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Visually check up passableness of a filtering element of an air cleaner.
  2. Check up all hoses and sleeves on presence of signs of development of leaks.
  3. Check up serviceability of functioning of valve EGR.
  4. Make sure of serviceability of a condition of contact sockets of electroconducting.
  5. Estimate a condition of sealing linings.
  1. Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature, — the arrow of a measuring instrument of temperature on the panel of devices should leave on the middle of a working range of a scale.
  1. Make sure that engine turns make no more than 1000 in a minute.
  2. Open a cowl and approximately for 2 minutes lift frequency of rotation of the engine to 2000 rpm (without loading).
  3. Make check of II diagnostic mode (self-diagnostics), — at operation of control lamp MIL make necessary regenerative repair, or replace the failed components.


Step 2 — Check of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Approximately for 2 minutes lift frequency of rotation of the engine to 2000 rpm (without loading).
  1. 2-3 times short jerky lift frequency of rotation of the engine to 4000 rpm (without loading), then dump turns to the single.
  1. Muffle the engine and disconnect electroconducting from the gauge of position throttle заслонки (TPS).
  1. Start the engine and 2-3 times lift its turns to 2000—3000 in a minute (without loading), then again dump to the single.
  2. By means of a stroboscope check up correctness of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition. Step 3 — Adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition is made by deployment of the distributor of ignition after preliminary release bolts of its fastening.
  2. Having finished updating, muffle the engine and connect electroconducting to gauge TPS.


Step 4 — Check of installation of base turns of idling


Under the scheme «with CONSULT»

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Consider the measuring instrument indication in a mode «DATA MONITOR», — demanded value makes 700 ± 50 rpm (selector AT lever — in position «N»).


Under the scheme «without CONSULT»

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make measurement of turns of idling, — demanded value makes 700 ± 50 rpm (selector AT lever — in position «N»).


Under both schemes

At positive result of check pass to performance of procedures of a step 6, at negative results — a step 5.


Step 5 — Adjustment of base value of turns of idling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. 2-3 times short jerky lift frequency of rotation of the engine to 4000 rpm (without loading), then dump turns to the single.
  1. Make corresponding updating of turns of idling by rotation of the adjusting screw.


Step 6 — Check of target turns of idling


Under the scheme «with CONSULT»

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Muffle the engine and disconnect electroconducting from gauge TPS.

Step 7 — Revealing of a source of infringement

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check up serviceability of functioning of valve IACV-AAC, — in case of need make replacement.
  2. Check up a condition of electroconducting of valve IACV-AAC, — in case of need replace a plait.
  3. Check up serviceability of functioning ECM by substitution of obviously serviceable block.

Exit ECM out of operation happens extremely seldom.


Step 8 — Check of a signal left доcatalytic a warmed up ljambda-probe under the scheme «with CONSULT»

  3. Disunite a contact socket of electroconducting of a ljambda-probe.
  1. Check up conductivity between the plug 50 ECM and a ljambda-probe socket, — conductivity should take place.
  1. At positive results of check pass to performance of procedures of a step 18, at negative — a step 8 or 9 after preliminary replacement of a plait.


Step 17 — Check of a condition of electroconducting left доcatalytic a warmed up ljambda-probe

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Muffle the engine and disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Disconnect electroconducting from ECM.
  3. Disunite a contact socket of electroconducting of a ljambda-probe.
  1. Check up conductivity between the plug 50 ECM and a ljambda-probe socket, — conductivity should take place.
  1. At positive results of check pass to performance of procedures of a step 18, at negative — a step 8 or 9 after preliminary replacement of a plait.


Step 18 — preparation for check of level of the maintenance WITH


Under the scheme «with CONSULT»

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Be switched in subsection «COOLANT TEMP» a mode «ACTIVE TEST» a measuring instrument.
  1. By means of switches "DWN" and «Qd» expose value «COOLANT TEMP» equal 5°С.


Under the scheme «without CONSULT»

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect electroconducting from the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid (ECT).
  1. Connect between plugs of a contact socket of electroconducting of the gauge the resistor resistance 4.4 clod.


Step 19 — Check of level of the maintenance WITH in the fulfilled gases

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  5. Check up a condition of gauge ECT and its electric chain.
